The NeighborWorks Campaign for Home Ownership, launched in January 1993,
is the largest initiative of its kind to bring families of modest means
into the economic mainstream by helping them achieve one of their
primary goals in life, buying a home. The Campaign now includes more
than 150 local NeighborWorks organizations across the country. Dozens of
collaborations have been developed with local, regional, and national
partners to generate additional resources and maximize effectiveness.
Homeownership has been used as a driving force in revitalization efforts
across the nation. From 1993 - 2005, Campaign members assisted 97,690
low-moderate income families to become homeowners, counseled 573,745
people about the home buying process, and invested $10.12 billion in
America’s communities.
We serve Coos, Curry, Douglas, Linn, Benton, Lane, Jefferson, Deschutes,
Crook, Lincoln, Marion, Polk, and Yamhill Counties. |
